In-Home Consultation
A 2-3 hour consultation will take place in your home, where we will discuss your wardrobe goals, examine your closet, and complete a color analysis to determine your season, subgroup, and color palette.
We will begin by sorting through the pieces you already have in your wardrobe and determining which pieces to say goodbye to and which pieces you would ideally like to incorporate in your capsule. We will establish your style, color palette, and sizing, and make a basic outline for your capsule wardrobe.
You will pre-pay for your new capsule pieces based on the budget you have set. These funds will be used to shop for you. If you do not have a set budget, we will determine an amount to get the process started, and the remaining amount will be owed at the end of the design process.
However, if you choose not to move forward at this point, the consultation will conclude, and you will only pay for the price of the consultation, which is $150.
Designing
Over the next week, we will shop for you based on your capsule outline and create a cohesive wardrobe that is personal and realistic for your lifestyle.
Each piece is thoughtfully chosen from a handful of brands that are excellent quality, we know and trust. However, if your budget is small, we will help accommodate as much as we can without compromising the quality of the pieces.
Depending on your preferences and budget, some pieces may be gently used while others may be brand new.
Throughout this time, we will frequently communicate with you and update you on the pieces acquired to make sure you approve before purchasing.
Fitting
Once the designer has received all the new pieces, we will schedule a fitting to ensure you love the look, fit, and feel of each piece.
If any of the pieces do not meet your expectations, they will be returned, and alternative pieces will be offered to you.
However, if you are not satisfied by this point, we will meet again in your home to reevaluate your wardrobe goals.
More than one fitting may be needed, depending on how much work is required.
Finalize
Once you approve your wardrobe as a whole, you will be charged the difference if your new capsule pieces exceed the initial budget. This will only happen upon your approval, as previously stated.
All pieces are required to be purchased at the time of service to ensure that your capsule is complete and wrapped up nicely. This also allows us to provide you with a lookbook at the conclusion of our time together.
If the new pieces fall under your budget, those funds will be subtracted from the final styling fee.
You will then be required to pay the styling fee, which ranges from $100-300 depending on the amount of work required.
Look book
Following the completion of your 37-piece capsule wardrobe, each of your capsule pieces will be photographed, and you will receive a physical lookbook containing photos of each capsule piece and 37 outfit combinations.
